CT Technologist

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists to support the VA Long Beach Healthcare System (Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center) located at 5901 East 7th St Long Beach, CA 90822. Available shift schedules include days, evenings, and nights. Responsibilities

• Independently operate CT scanner equipment to perform complex CT imaging exams
• Practice CT safety and radiation protection standards
• Receive patients, explain procedures, and position patients appropriately
• Select and adjust technical parameters and accessory equipment
• Prepare CT suites, ensuring sterile supplies and contrast materials are available
• Administer IV contrast under radiologist supervision
• Send images to PACS, perform image post‑processing and case editing
• Maintain patient records using Radiology VistA and CPRS

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current CT experience
• Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification
• Demonstrated experience with IV and contrast injections
• Current BLS certification
• No sponsorship available

Preferred

• PACS experience (AGFA preferred, not required)

Pay

$62 - $67.09/hr

All candidates must be able to

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
