Join Orus, one of Europe's fastest-growing insurtechs, as a Senior HR Business Partner. In this role, you will partner with leaders to drive organizational performance, build a high-performance culture, and shape our People strategy as we scale internationally. You will report directly to the Head of People and work closely with our leadership team and managers across various departments. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, work closely with leadership, and be part of our European expansion.
We're looking for an experienced, business-minded HR professional who loves working with leaders and making organizations better.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders, understanding their business challenges and translating them into People priorities.
- Drive talent and performance discussions, ensuring clear expectations, meaningful feedback and accountability.
- Help translate Orus's business ambitions into concrete People initiatives across France, Spain and the Netherlands.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in HR, with a strong track record as a business-facing HRBP in a fast-growing organization.
- Experience scaling an organization from 100 to 200+ employees.
- Fluent French and English are mandatory. You'll regularly work and communicate in both languages.
- Proven ability to partner with and challenge senior leaders.
- Strong business acumen and experience in organizational design, performance management and talent development.
- Solid knowledge of French employment law and experience navigating complex employee relations situations.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, making difficult calls and balancing business needs with employee experience.
- Strategic thinker, pragmatic doer. You know how to turn insights into action without creating unnecessary processes.
- You don't wait for managers to bring you problems. You build relationships, sense what's happening in teams and step in before small issues become big ones. You balance empathy with accountability and you challenge managers while empowering them to own their decisions.
Preferred
- Spanish language skills, a real plus given our presence in Madrid.
- Experience in an international scale-up, particularly across France, Spain or the Netherlands.
- An interest in People analytics, automation and AI.
