Responsibilities

  • DATAMARK is growing! We're seeking detail-oriented Customs Clerks to support critical back-office customs processing operations on our second shift team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with documentation, problem-solving, and making informed decisions based on detailed information.
  • This position goes beyond traditional data entry. Successful candidates will review and interpret shipment documentation, apply tariff classifications, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Review and process shipping and customs documentation accurately and efficiently

Analyze manifests and supporting shipment documents

  • Apply tariff codes and make decisions based on classification guidelines
  • Enter and update information across multiple systems and applications
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and internal procedures
  • Conduct research and interpret information to resolve discrepancies
  • Meet quality and productivity standards while maintaining accuracy

Requirements

  • Success in this position requires judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to interpret complex information.
  • Ability to work a second-shift schedule of 4:00 PM-12:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
  • Prior logistics, customs, or data processing experience is highly preferred
  • Strong computer literacy (comfortable working in multiple systems and forms)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team setting
  • 45 WPM typing speed with 98% accuracy
  • 6000 KPH data entry speed with 98% accuracy
  • Ability to interpret documentation and make informed decisions
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent

Pay

Salary: Up to USD 29,120
