Join Airbnb's Client and Identity Engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure systems that underpin the entire Airbnb Zero Trust ecosystem. You will work with open source products, support executive level staff with endpoint and identity solutions, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to optimize endpoints and identity flows. This is an opportunity to contribute to the safety and trust of the Airbnb community.

Responsibilities

  • Construire et maintenir des systèmes robustes, évolutifs et sécurisés qui sous-tendent l'ensemble de l'écosystème Zero Trust d'Airbnb.
  • Travailler avec des produits open source pour construire la prochaine génération de la plateforme client pour tous les points de terminaison d'entreprise d'Airbnb.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes d'ingénierie de la sécurité pour concevoir de nouvelles fonctionnalités et faire évoluer les plateformes.

Requirements

Experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior engineers

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work well within engineering organization and cross functions
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code deployments
  • Show motivation for personal growth and learning new technologies to support the team's needs

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

  • Bachelor's and/or Master/PhD's degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in test driven software development
  • Experience developing and deploying services in a Kubernetes environment
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns

Experience with microservices architecture

  • Familiarity with Apple MDM spec and its implementation in modern MDM deployments
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization principles and technologies, such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID, SAML, ABAC, and related Zero Trust security protocols

Preferred

  • Extensive experience with Go, Python, or Java (Go strongly preferred)
