Join Mashgin, a rapidly scaling company at the forefront of visual automation technology. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our hardware evolution, tackling complex technical challenges and delivering high-quality engineering solutions under aggressive timelines. You will have total ownership over your work, directly impacting the product we ship every day. This role requires a high degree of vocal engineering, effective communication with non-technical stakeholders, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Integrating system-level electrical designs, driving system power architecture, and supporting hardware bring-up.
This is an opportunity for an engineer who thrives on ownership and wants to blend technical execution with the strategic oversight necessary to scale a product from prototype to market
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with global suppliers and manufacturing partners to deliver scalable production hardware.
- Rapidly prototyping and evaluating new system architectures and electro-mechanical concepts.
- Understanding of and demonstrated experience in electrical design principles, circuit analysis, and electronics manufacturing processes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Able to travel (~2x annually) for domestic hardware installations
- Familiarity with BOM and PLM management and processes, e.g. Agile, Aligni
- Experience with rapid prototyping to de-risk new designs and technologies
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, hardware engineering or related experience
- Experience in failure analysis modes, including both non-destructive and destructive FA
- Experience working with complex board designs PCB/FPC/RFPC, design/manufacturing release, test, bringup, and debugging
Able to travel (~2x annually) for overseas builds
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Altium, Cadence OrCAD/Allegro, PADS) and circuit analysis software (e.g. SPICE)
- Ability to read, interpret, and basic coding ability for C/C++ and similar embedded systems languages
- Hands-on EE lab experience, including with: soldering equipment, oscilloscopes, high speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers, function generators
- Experience in shipping consumer electronics over a full NPI/xVT cycle with a focus on HW system design and integration
- Experience with IMUs/sensor physical sensor systems with an understanding of calibration methods
- Experience with display technologies (e.g. LCD, OLED)
Experience programming in languages like Python or C/C++
- Design experience related to EE-adjacent domains such as: ESD, Reliability, Thermal, Desense/EMI, Signal Integrity
- Experience in HW design and integration using microcontrollers, SoCs, DDR, flash memory
- Experience with vision systems
- Experience with embedded SW development (C/C++, Python)
Preferred
- Strong electrical design fundamentals in analog (e.g. audio, sensor AFE), high speed (e.g. DDR4/5, MIPI, USB3) and power design (e.g. PDN analysis, power architecture)
- Experience with RF system design and integration
