User Acceptance Testing Analyst

Join our team as a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyst.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will become a product expert, collaborating with customers, business stakeholders, and product owners to understand user requirements and acceptance criteria.
• You will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for our product, identify and document defects, perform regression testing, and maintain documentation of test cases and quality assurance reports.
• You will also provide technical support during release management cycles and assist in troubleshooting deployment issues.
• Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and product owners to understand user requirements and acceptance criteria, and design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for Sardine’s product.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to ensure they are resolved before release, and perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Maintain documentation of test cases, test scripts, test results, and quality assurance reports in accordance with QA standards, and provide technical support during release management cycles.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating complex systems, developing and executing test plans, and ensuring the quality and performance of software applications across various platforms

Requirements

• This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• The ideal candidate is technical, self-sufficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Bonus: Prior experience performing testing in systems used by banks or governments
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in high-pressure situations
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies including functional testing, performance testing, automation testing, API testing, and user acceptance testing
• Ability to write Eval for AI Products

Proficiency with SQL (joins, queries across multiple tables)

• Experience supporting B2B SaaS products and/or working with banking infrastructure
• 3+ years experience in a user acceptance or functional testing role at banks/fintechs
• Understanding of REST API and use of tools like Postman
• Strong communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to write structured test plans, along with step-by-step manual test scripts

Pay

USD 110,000 - 140,000
