Join our Web Interfaces Engineering group as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will develop across the full stack of web technologies, work in a Scrum-based Agile development process, and design and implement user-friendly software. You will collaborate closely with product owners and creative designers to translate business requirements into fully functional features.

Requirements

  • Working in a Scrum-based Agile development process, emphasizing coding over documentation.
  • Designing and implementing software that is simple, intuitive, and easy to use, while solving real-world problems.
  • In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

Experience in coding, object-oriented and modularized software

  • 3+ years’ experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. NodeJS, ReactJS, Redux)
  • 3+ years’ experience with Java based web applications and cloud-based applications
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to work directly with business owner

Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies quickly

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
  • Expertise with HTML technologies including HTML5, CSS3 and AJAX / Web Services
  • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams of engineering/PM/Design with varying skill sets

BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Expertise in writing Java code and JavaScript but strong candidates with experience in other OO languages will be considered
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns and Cloud/Web technologies
  • Expertise in JavaScript, ES6, Angular.js, React, HTML5, CSS3, Java 8 and GraphQL
  • Experience with relational databases: Oracle, MySQL MS SQLServer
  • Experience in developing cloud-based applications
  • Familiarity with Unix shell and Functional programming
  • Expertise in unit and integration test automation
