Critical Infrastructure Engineering Lead

In this role, you will be the senior technical authority for critical electrical, mechanical, and life-safety infrastructure across assigned colocation sites. You will assess provider performance, advise on critical decisions, support incident response, and ensure operational learning drives durable improvements. The position requires a strong practical knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical systems, as well as experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure incidents.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Mistral AI’s senior technical authority for critical electrical, mechanical and life-safety infrastructure across assigned colocation sites.
• Own and maintain the site technical risk register, including electrical and mechanical single points of failure, maintenance exposure, redundancy limitations, cooling capacity, liquid-cooling interfaces and common-mode failure scenarios.
• Act as a senior engineering escalation point during major infrastructure incidents; rapidly assess failure domain, remaining redundancy, safety implications, likely IT impact and viable restoration options.
