Benchmark Companies is a mulch manufacturing company based in Christiana, TN seeking qualified Class A CDL drivers for open full-time positions within our company.

Responsibilities

• Position Summary: Load, transport, and deliver mulch and compost products using "live" floor semi trailers.
• Interact with customers and dispatch to meet delivery schedules and requirements.
• Comprised predominantly of regional runs, applicants can expect to be out 2-3 nights per week but will be home every weekend.
• Operate Class A CDL trucks with walking floor trailers
• Self-load trailer at multiple locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Report repair issues to dispatch and shop personnel
• Operate vehicle in all weather conditions

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL
• Must submit to a driving record check

Preferred

• 3 years experience preferred
• Ability to operate rubber tire loaders and excavators a plus

Pay

Per diems will be allocated for the nights spent away from home.
