Responsibilities

• Identifying gaps in the product surface and contributing to framing problems worth solving, considering data and compliance implications.
• Mentoring junior engineers, providing timely peer feedback, and participating in the hiring process.

Requirements

• Ownership of a product surface within Care Finance's provider and partner platform, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Growing fluency with application security and compliance-regulated environments; HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or SOC 2 exposure a plus
• Clear written communication that helps stakeholders act, including non-engineering partners
• Hands-on proficiency in at least one of Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript
• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering production systems
• Ability to own a product surface end-to-end and work independently, seeking guidance on novel domains
• Reliable, high-quality craft with an AI-native approach to output
• Experience managing your own dependencies and escalating with context, not just problems
