Infrastructure & Platform Architect

Join a technical team focused on building and operating a platform across various environments. As an Infrastructure & Platform Architect, you will design the infrastructure platform, standardize infrastructure, and ensure architectures are observable, maintainable, scalable, and recoverable. You will also integrate security by design, plan for failure and growth, and stay hands-on with configurations and complex infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the infrastructure platform, defining architectures for compute, networking, storage, containers, and shared platform services.
• Standardize infrastructure by defining reusable patterns and technical standards that can be implemented and automated by the DevOps team.
• Ensure architectures are observable, maintainable, scalable, and recoverable, integrating security by design and planning for failure and growth.
• Security architecture, IAM and hardening
• SLURM

Requirements

• 5+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering or architecture
• Strong Linux, networking, compute and storage fundamentals
• Good knowledge of containers and modern application infrastructure
• Experience with hybrid, cloud or on-premise environments
• Knowledge of HDS environments and GDPR french reglementation
• Ability to translate business and technical constraints into pragmatic architecture
• Comfortable moving between architecture and hands-on troubleshooting
• Autonomous, structured and pragmatic
• Strong technical documentation skills
• SRE / observability / incident management
• Hands-on Linux, storage or network operations
• Backup, recovery and infrastructure lifecycle management
