Solutions Architect (Integrations)

MaintainX as our first dedicated Solutions Architect for Integrations. In this role, you will work at the intersection of Sales and our post-sales Integrations team, ensuring that every customer commitment is technically sound before a contract is signed. You will turn vague integration requirements into clear, scoped blueprints for the implementation team, lead technical discovery conversations with prospects, and produce clear integration scope documents and data-flow diagrams.

Responsibilities

• You will also build and maintain a library of repeatable integration patterns, collaborate closely with the post-sales Integrations team, deliver live demos and proof-of-concept integrations, and advocate for prospect needs with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Product teams.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on knowledge of APIs, data flows, and systems architecture working across engineering teams and business stakeholders
• Proven ability to scope technical work and translate it into effort estimates

Preferred

• Deep familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and modern integration patterns
• Experience with enterprise systems like ERP or EAM systems (SAP, Oracle, IBM Maximo, Infor, etc.)
• Familiarity with SaaS delivery models, including onboarding, post-sale deployment, and customer success workflows
• Experience with iPaaS platforms (Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier, or similar)
• 4+ years of experience in a client-facing Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, or similar role
