Data Analyst

Join Planet's Data Team as a Data Analyst. In this role, you will gain experience in geospatial and enterprise data modeling and analysis, build data products and solutions, and analyze and visualize data to drive insights. You will work with key stakeholders across the business to define metrics, develop and own data models, and contribute to a team of Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers. Responsibilities

• Analyzing and visualizing data to drive insights and inform product, business, or operational problems.
• Building data products and solutions such as dashboards, self-service tooling, and data pipelines for consumers across the organization.
• Developing and owning robust, accurate data models as well as maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving existing ones.

Requirements

• Experience working in a dynamic environment serving multiple stakeholder groups with different needs and technical ability
• Bachelors’ degree, technical certification, or equivalent
• Reliability and accuracy in analytics work
• Expertise in SQL and python for data cleaning, aggregation and analytics
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with geospatial data use cases

Experience with git or other version control

• Familiarity with enterprise cloud platforms
• Familiarity with enterprise cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
