Staff Software Engineer (Set Registry)

Join our Collectors Experience team as a Staff Software Engineer. You will design and build a scalable back-end architecture for PSA Set Registry, a consumer-facing product with a deeply engaged user base. You will collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams, and participate in the entire software development lifecycle. Responsibilities

• Posséder et livrer des fonctionnalités complètes, y compris la conception, l'architecture, la mise en œuvre, la testabilité et le déploiement.

Requirements

• Participer à l'ensemble du cycle de vie du développement logiciel, en prenant des fonctionnalités du concept à la mise en production.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to turn complex business requirements into clean and extensible APIs
• 5+ years of experience building solutions using AWS technologies such as: Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway
• Experience with containerization and orchestration infrastructure (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)

Strong proficiency in Python

• 7+ years of software engineering industry experience building backend software, with exposure to microservices, event-driven architectures, and batch processing
• Possess strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to visualize and document processes

Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Strong fundamentals working with databases and data modeling, both relational (e.g. PostgreSQL) & NoSQL (e.g. DynamoDB)
• Proficient at using appropriate security, documentation, and/or monitoring best practices

Preferred

• Experience with IaC such as CDK/CloudFormation or TerraForm
