Software Engineer (Planner Frameworks Pipeline)

Join our small, dynamic team within the Autonomy organization as a Software Engineer focused on Planner Frameworks Pipeline. In this hands-on role, you will contribute to the framework's architecture, reliability, and efficiency, while also improving the cost efficiency and performance of our validation and simulation pipelines.

Responsibilities

• You will create production-grade APIs, SDKs, and tools to enable various validations of autonomous behaviors, and enhance the ML training pipelines supporting the autonomous behavior organization. - Contribuer à l'architecture, à la fiabilité, à l'efficacité et à l'évolution des pipelines de validation et de simulation. - Créer des API, SDK et outils de production pour permettre une validation variée des comportements autonomes. - Améliorer l'efficacité, la fiabilité et la performance des pipelines de validation et de simulation. - You should have a track record of keeping production systems running with high availability.

Requirements

• Experience with robotics or autonomous systems is not required but an understanding of the robotic data lifecycle is preferred - Proficiency with Python and familiarity with C++ - Experience with AWS or similar providers - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of industry experience - Experience optimizing large-scale distributed systems for cost and efficiency - Exposure to machine learning workloads (training, inference, data generation) from a cost optimization perspective - Background in algorithmic optimization or performance investigation - Experience with , particularly Ray Core and Ray Data
