Senior Engineering Manager (Cloudforce One)

Led high-performing engineering teams for over 8 years, responsible for architectural direction and operational excellence of large-scale distributed security platforms (e.g., Threat Intel APIs, automated mitigation systems). Proven ability to manage technical debt, drive professional development through strong mentorship, and excel at planning and execution to deliver predictable, world-class products in a high-growth environment

Experience with edge computing (e.g., Workers), SQL-at-the-edge (D1/SQLite), and building systems that scale to handle trillions of signals

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in building and scaling the Cloudforce One Threat Events platform and external Threat Intel APIs.
• Drive the architectural direction and operational excellence of the services owned by the team, ensuring they meet latency and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers and security researchers to turn complex threat data into intuitive, automated customer experiences.
• You have experience delivering scalable distributed systems, managing complex data pipelines, and leading teams through the transition from "getting things done" to building world-class, reliable products
• Experience with AI-assisted development and agentic AI workflows
• Understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain and how to automate the ingestion and distribution of IOCs (IPs, domains, hashes, JA3/4 fingerprints)

Requirements

• This role may require flexibility to be on-call outside of standard working hours to address technical issues as needed
• Excel at planning and execution to deliver predictable, reliable features for security teams
• 8+ years of Software Development experience, with a focus on Go, JavaScript, or distributed systems
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing technical debt in a high-growth environment

Preferred

• Prior experience building high-performance APIs or platforms for threat intelligence, security operations, or large-scale data analytics
