Principal Software Engineer (Enterprise Integrations)

Responsibilities

• Concevoir, construire et maintenir des flux d'intégration entre Cloudflare et diverses applications SaaS, en évaluant l'utilisation d'outils d'IA pour améliorer la conception et la livraison.
• Collaborer avec les parties prenantes internes pour traduire les problèmes commerciaux en solutions techniques, qu'il s'agisse d'un service traditionnel ou d'une solution pilotée par l'IA.
• Participer à l'évaluation, à l'adoption et à la gouvernance des outils d'IA de manière responsable, en tenant compte de la gestion des données, du choix des modèles et des garde-fous.
• We're looking for an engineer who is as comfortable designing an AI-assisted solution as they are writing the service that implements it

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation with 10+ engineers
• Experience building RESTful APIs with proper service security practices
• Demonstrated experience using AI/LLM tools to build real solutions, such as building an AI agent, LLM powered automation, or shipping code with heavy AI-assisted development (not just using ChatGPT to write code faster)
• Experience with observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, Kibana, or similar)
• Experience with serverless computing platform (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions, or Cloudflare Workers)
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go strongly preferred; Python/TypeScript also considered)
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Cloudflare Developer Platform (Workers, Workflows, D1, etc.)

Preferred

• Experience working with internal stakeholders to solve business problems through integration or automation solutions

Experience with GitLab or other CI/CD tooling

• Working familiarity with containerized/cloud environments (Kubernetes, or equivalent cloud-native experience)
• Experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.)
• Experience with prompt engineering, evals, or AI guardrail/governance practices
• Experience with business systems such as Oracle or NetSuite
• Familiarity with integration patterns (pub/sub, api-first, CDM, batch processing)
