Senior Full Stack Go Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Full Stack Go Engineer, where you will architect features from the database to the browser. You will primarily focus on the Go backend, APIs, data models, and system design, but will also work on the React/TypeScript frontend as needed. You will have a significant voice in shaping our technical direction and product.

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with deep expertise in Go to join a diverse, product-minded team that values collaboration, impact, and continuous learning

Engineers are expected to be comfortable navigating the entire stack (both Frontend and Backend)

Responsibilities

• Architecting features from the database to the browser, with a focus on the Go backend and APIs.
• Designing and implementing clean APIs in Go while ensuring seamless integration into a performant React frontend.
• Maintaining high standards for code quality and performance across the entire stack, from backend microservices to frontend component libraries.

Requirements

• This is a role for an engineer who lives in the backend but enjoys reaching across the stack
• System Ownership: A "DevOps" mindset, comfortable with CI/CD, automated testing, and version control
• The Frontend: Motivated and willing to work in our React/TypeScript frontend, with enough baseline ability to ship features there when a story calls for it. Prior hands-on React/TypeScript experience is a plus, not a must
• Experience: at least 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment
• Communication: Fluent English and the ability to explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
• The Backend: Proven experience architecting and maintaining high-scale web APIs. You've shipped Go in production for 2+ years and are comfortable owning backend system design end-to-end
