Data Manager

Join Iterative Health as a Data Manager, where you will play a critical role in building and managing data and dashboards that support our operations, decision-making, and business growth. You will establish scalable standards and processes, improve data integrity, support data integrations and migrations, and create greater visibility into data management across the organization. This is an opportunity to build foundational data capabilities from the ground up and ensure trusted data for day-to-day operations and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Construire, maintenir et améliorer des tableaux de bord, des rapports et des outils d'analyse dans des plateformes BI.

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of ownership over the accuracy and reliability of reporting

Requirements

• Ability to understand data models, relationships between datasets, and how data flows from source systems into reporting environments
• Experience translating business questions into metrics, analyses, datasets, and dashboards
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases and working with large datasets
• Strong communication skills and business sense. Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences with ease
• Experience building production dashboards and reports in BI tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of data visualization and dashboard design, including how to present complex information clearly and effectively
• Ability to manage multiple reporting and analytics priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Experience working cross-functionally with business, technology, and data teams
• Ability to communicate technical and analytical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data analysis, reporting, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions
• Experience developing and implementing data governance and data quality processes
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing complex datasets and cross-functional initiatives
• 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, business systems, data operations, or a related field
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong understanding of data structures, data lifecycle management, data integration, and data architecture concepts
• Experience with data management, reporting, BI, or data governance tools
• Experience working across multiple business systems and understanding how data moves between systems

Hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight and/or Metabase

• Familiarity with AWS data services such as RDS, Redshift, Athena, S3, or related technologies
• Experience working with data and databases hosted in AWS
• Experience creating reporting-ready datasets or semantic layers for use across multiple dashboards
• Experience working with healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, or other regulated data
• Experience building executive-level and operational dashboards used to manage business performance
• Experience automating reporting processes or migrating reporting from Excel and other manual workflows into BI platforms
• Experience with HIPAA, SOC 2, or other data privacy and security frameworks
• Experience with enterprise applications such as HRIS, ERP, CRM, ATS, or clinical systems
• Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, or modern data platforms

Preferred

• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, or modern data warehouses
• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation
• Experience in healthcare, clinical research, health technology, or another highly regulated environment
• Experience supporting data migrations, system implementations, or M&A integrations
• Experience establishing data governance programs in a growing organization
