Join our passionate and talented engineering team as a Staff Full Stack Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and peer engineers to deliver well-scoped product features. You will advocate for and practice test-driven development (TDD) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software. You should have 8 to 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, and proficiency in at least one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver well-scoped product features and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Advocate for and practice test-driven development (TDD) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends and continuously improve productivity, while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in programming principles and design patterns
  • 8 to 12+ years of professional software engineering experience

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS

  • Experience with building scalable systems and test driven CI/CD commitment to quality software development
  • Knowledge of caching mechanisms such as Redis or Memcached
  • Keep up with the latest technological trends and continuously improve productivity
  • Proficiency in at least one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript, with experience developing full-stack, high-performance, and high-availability applications
  • Demonstrated experience in designing distributed systems with a holistic perspective
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB, have comprehensive understanding of the decision-making process between SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with NextJS or other front end technologies
