Platform Engineer

Join Zopa, a pioneering fintech company that has redefined banking since its inception in 2005. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our cloud infrastructure and improving the developer experience. You will work closely with engineers, contribute to shared standards, and support business-critical services. This hybrid role requires you to be in our Manchester office 2-3 days a week, with the option to work from abroad for up to 120 days a year.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of meaningful cloud infrastructure and migration work, including building and improving infrastructure-as-code, containers, and cloud automation.
• Work with engineers to understand their needs and improve the developer experience, ensuring platform services are secure, reliable, observable, and maintainable.
• Contribute to shared standards, documentation, code review, and continuous improvement, and support business-critical services through the shared on-call rota.
