Senior Software Engineer (EDR Workflows, Security)

Elastic, a company that is revolutionizing the way organizations use data. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Security EDR Workflows team, you will play a crucial role in building core capabilities for Elastic Defend, our security product. You will design and implement features, build and evolve APIs, and contribute to the architecture of Elastic Defend management and response actions framework.

Requirements

• Solid programming experience in Typescript/Node JS and React JS
• An initiative-taking mindset: you ask the right questions, don't make assumptions, and look for ways to improve both product and engineering processes
• Ability to take ownership of problems end-to-end: from clarifying requirements and proposing designs to delivering, monitoring, and iterating in production
• You take advantage of AI for better comprehension of complex problems and quickly ramping up into solutions

You have an AI powered development mindset

• Solid communication skills and the ability to explain complex and technical topics to both technical and non-technical partners
• Comfortable developing collaboratively. Giving and receiving feedback on code and approaches, even asynchronous over different timezones
• Knowledge of the Elastic stack and solutions

Preferred

• Experience and interest in contributing or developing open-source projects
• Experience on cybersecurity and forensics
