Join Grafana Labs as a Senior FullStack Engineer in the Grafana Cloud Observability department. You will be part of the Cloud Integrations team, developing integrations that allow customers to collect, visualize, and act on telemetry from various systems and applications. Your work will have a direct impact on Grafana Cloud's out-of-the-box experience. You will have the opportunity to contribute to open-source technologies such as Prometheus and OpenTelemetry. This is a remote-first position with a focus on developer productivity and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Experience on both the backend and the frontend. We use Go and TypeScript; solid experience with comparable languages translates well
- Strong written communication. Most of our decisions happen in docs, issues and pull requests across several time zones
Requirements
- Interest in working across the full stack, with a product-focused mindset. You start from the user problem and are comfortable deciding what to build, not only how to build it
- Working knowledge of the observability ecosystem: Prometheus, Grafana dashboards, alerting, and what it takes to run these systems in production
- Fluency with AI-assisted development. You use coding agents and LLM tooling as part of how you work, and you have a clear view of where they speed things up and where they get in the way
- Experience contributing to or maintaining Open Source projects, with evidence of successful pull requests and community collaboration
- Familiarity with Grafana Alloy, the OpenTelemetry Collector, or similar telemetry pipeline tooling
- Experience building Grafana plugins, apps or dashboards
- Experience writing Jsonnet, or another configuration-as-code language
- You have been on-call for the systems you instrument, so you know what a useful alert looks like
Preferred
- Experience working on Developer Tooling with a large user base
Benefits
- Comfort being visible. You raise concerns early, advocate for your team's work across the org, and turn quiet good work into decisions other people can see and act on
