Jr QA Analyst

Join our QA team as a Jr QA Analyst, where you'll be responsible for manual, functional, regression, and exploratory testing across our web application and APIs. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers throughout the development cycle. This role offers exposure to test automation using Playwright and TypeScript, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their technical skills in QA.

Responsibilities

• Participer activement aux tests manuels, fonctionnels, de régression et exploratoires de l'application web et des API.
• Collaborer avec les développeurs, les chefs de produit et les designers tout au long du cycle de développement pour assurer la qualité des fonctionnalités.
• Acquérir une expérience pratique avec la suite de tests automatisés en utilisant Playwright et TypeScript, et contribuer à l'expansion de la couverture de test automatisée.
• Some exposure to a test automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or a similar tool. You don't need to be an automation expert — we're looking for a willingness and ability to learn
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Insomnia, or a similar tool
• A solid understanding of manual testing fundamentals, including test case design, regression testing, exploratory testing, and defect reporting

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and curiosity about how things work
• Experience working in a ticket-driven development process such as Jira or an equivalent tool

Familiarity with Git and basic branching/version-control concepts

• Basic SQL skills and an understanding of how to use queries to set up or validate test data
• 2+ years of hands-on software QA experience, ideally in a product or SaaS environment
• Basic familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, or another programming language is an asset. You should be comfortable learning to read and understand existing test code
• A willingness to ask questions, investigate problems, and learn from others
• Experience with Playwright and/or TypeScript
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI
• Familiarity with AWS or cloud-based applications

Preferred

• Experience testing APIs, integrations, messaging systems, or data pipelines
• Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with performance or accessibility testing
• ISTQB certification or similar
