Senior Accountant

VSCO, a fully remote organization, as a Senior Accountant. In this hands-on role, you will have meaningful ownership of the month-end close, general ledger, audit readiness, and accounting systems and automation. You will partner directly with the Director of Accounting and play a key role in optimizing our ERP and AP and expense technology.

This is a great opportunity for an accountant with a strong technical foundation who is ready for greater ownership and visibility in their career. - Own meaningful portions of the month-end close from start to finish, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, prepaid schedules, and related journal entries. - Partner directly with the Director of Accounting to continuously improve the speed, accuracy, and scalability of the close process, and help modernize and automate accounting workflows. - Play a key role in the implementation and automation of our AP and expense platform, including workflow design, coding rules, and process improvements. - Clear, thoughtful written and verbal communication skills - Experience working within an ERP and confidence learning new financial systems and tools - Comfort working in a lean, collaborative environment where priorities can evolve quickly - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Ability to independently own workstreams, solve problems, and manage competing priorities - A proactive mindset and genuine interest in improving systems and processes rather than simply maintaining them - 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience with direct ownership of recurring month-end close responsibilities - Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the broader business context - Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles - CPA - Experience within a SaaS, technology, or high-growth company - Experience supporting an ERP, AP, or expense platform implementation or migration - Experience with Campfire, , Expensify, HubiFi, Ramp, Navan, or similar accounting and expense platforms - Experience using automation or AI tools to improve finance or accounting workflows
