Solutions Architect (Governance, Risk & Compliance)

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic delivery of contracted services, conducting discovery sessions to understand business needs and architecting solution designs.
• Assume a leadership role within the team, exemplifying best practices, mentoring peers, and contributing to continuous development efforts.
• Demonstrated ability to curate and maintain customer-first relationships

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in service delivery, finance, accounting, audit, or a related field
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for team and corporate meetings, fostering relationships and representing company interests
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field; an advanced degree may be considered in lieu of professional experience
• Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely
• An experienced professional with full understanding of area of specialization
• Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 2 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience
• Fully qualified with practical experience of applying industry practices and solutions to creatively solve a variety of issues
• Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
• A strong individual contributor with intellectual curiosity to positively impact the ability to manage multiple services
• Ability to influence and drive change in business processes
• Enhanced technology knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace applications

Preferred

• Experience with enterprise risk, financial planning or analytics & reporting solutions and their related technology platforms
• Hands-on experience within the Workiva platform, other SaaS and cloud technologies, or data architectures preferred
• Consultant level at a services company or public accounting preferred
