Senior Staff Software Engineer (Native Mobile)

Coinbase as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Native Mobile. In this role, you will be a technical architect for Coinbase's native mobile future, leading the migration from React Native to native Swift and Kotlin builds. Responsibilities

• Uses generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and measurable gains in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in iOS or Android native mobile development (Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android) and strong working proficiency in the other platform, operating at depth across your own and adjacent team codebases
• Track record of owning outcomes spanning 2-3+ teams that drive business impact, including multi-phase platform migrations or rewrites at scale where you shaped strategy and made trade-offs that raised ROI across teams
