Software Engineer

Join Orchard's engineering team as a Software Engineer, where you'll build and maintain the systems behind our website and tools that help agents reach new customers. You'll work on both backend and frontend systems, collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders, and have real ownership and visibility in your work. Responsibilities

• Construire et maintenir les services et interfaces qui alimentent le site Web et les outils internes d'Orchard.
• Collaborer avec les chefs de produit et les designers pour transformer les idées en projets clairs et bien définis.
• Déboguer et améliorer les services principaux pour les rendre plus rapides et plus fiables.
• Experience directing AI coding tools effectively

Requirements

Comfortable reviewing code you didn't write

• Experience with tools like AWS, Postgres, SQL, Kafka, Airflow, Docker, or CircleCI is a plus
• Interest in a hands-on team where engineers ship quickly and have real impact
• A low-ego, problem-solving mindset. You take ownership, improve what you touch, and ask for help when something doesn't add up
• At least 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Strong skills in at least one language relevant to our stack (Python, TypeScript, or Go), with solid knowledge of APIs and data modeling
