Senior Frontend Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Frontend Engineer and take a leading role in building the frontend of our new data platform from scratch. You will own the frontend architecture and user experience, build high-quality features using React and TypeScript, and collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams. You will also guide and support other frontend engineers through hands-on collaboration and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to turn high-level problems into working solutions, driving code quality through hands-on development.
• Experience working closely with Product and Design, contributing to better solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in modern frontend development with React and TypeScript
• Proven ability to build products from scratch (0→1) or work in highly iterative environments

Berlin-based (or willing to relocate)

• Excellent English communication skills, able to work closely with our Germany-/Thailand-based engineering teams
• Ability to take ownership and drive features from idea to production
• Strong experience building complex, interactive UIs and defining frontend architecture
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and making decisions without perfect specs
• Strong product mindset — you think about usability, user flows, and real-world usage, not just implementation

Familiarity with ISO 27001-aligned engineering practices

• Experience with data-heavy or workflow-driven UIs (ETL, pipelines, dashboards, internal tools)
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud-native concepts (useful when integrating with backend teams)
• Experience with performance optimization and complex state management

Preferred

• Familiarity with SDK-based or API-driven products
• Experience in agentic coding workflows, AI-powered development tooling, or advanced dev tooling
