Tech Lead (Android Core Product)

Join our team as a Tech Lead for our Android Core Product. In this key role, you will take ownership of major features, shape the future of our Android team, and participate in discussions across different teams. You will work closely with our design team and be responsible for delivering high-quality features. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software engineering experience, a strong background in Kotlin and Android development, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assumer la responsabilité de la conception, du développement et de la mise en œuvre de nouvelles fonctionnalités pour l'application Android, en veillant à ce qu'elles répondent aux normes de qualité élevées.
• Collaborer avec les équipes de conception, de produit et d'ingénierie pour définir et affiner les exigences des fonctionnalités, en veillant à ce qu'elles soient alignées sur la vision du produit.
• Participer activement à la révision des pull requests, à la formation des autres membres de l'équipe et à la résolution des problèmes critiques.
• Rock solid experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, JUnit tests
• Experience building or contributing to at least one Android app
• Familiarity with Android components

Product design intuition and user empathy

• Understanding of the importance of tests and how to approach writing tests
• Experience building, maintaining, or otherwise contributing to open source projects in Android
• Experience with iOS, Web or NodeJS
