Android Core Product Technical Lead

Join our team as an Android Core Product Technical Lead. In this key role, you will take ownership of major features, shape the future of our Android team, and participate in discussions across different teams. You will work closely with our design team and be responsible for delivering high-quality features. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software engineering experience, excellent communication skills, and a user-oriented problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Assumer la responsabilité de la conception, du développement et de la mise en œuvre de nouvelles fonctionnalités pour l'application Android, en veillant à ce qu'elles répondent aux normes de qualité élevées.
• Collaborer avec les équipes de conception, de produit et d'ingénierie pour définir et affiner les exigences des fonctionnalités, en apportant une expertise technique et une perspective utilisateur.
• Participer activement à la révision des demandes de tirage, à la formation des autres membres de l'équipe et à la résolution des problèmes critiques.

Driven with continuous feedback from leaders

• Experience building or contributing to at least one Android app
• Self-drive to improve the app and codebase above and beyond what's outlined in the spec
• Rock solid experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, JUnit tests
• Familiarity with Android components
• Drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

Product design intuition and user empathy

• Understanding of the importance of tests and how to approach writing tests
• Experience building, maintaining, or otherwise contributing to open source projects in Android
• Experience with iOS, Web or NodeJS
