Android Core Product Tech Lead

Join our team as an Android Core Product Tech Lead. In this key role, you will take ownership of major features, shape the future of our Android team, and participate in discussions across different teams. You should have 5+ years of software engineering experience, a strong understanding of Android components, and a user-oriented problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Prendre en charge des fonctionnalités majeures de l'application, travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe de conception et être responsable de la livraison de fonctionnalités de haute qualité.
• Participer aux discussions entre différentes équipes (produit, conception, ingénierie) et soutenir les autres membres de l'équipe en examinant les demandes de tirage.
• Assurer la maintenance et l'amélioration des métriques de fiabilité pour les fonctionnalités clés, et gérer les problèmes critiques ou faire face à des défis inattendus.
• Familiarity with Android components
• Experience building or contributing to at least one Android app
• Drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX
• Rock solid experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, JUnit tests

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Understanding of the importance of tests and how to approach writing tests
• User oriented problem solving approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-drive to improve the app and codebase above and beyond what's outlined in the spec
• Driven with continuous feedback from leaders
• Product design intuition and user empathy
• Experience building, maintaining, or otherwise contributing to open source projects in Android
• Experience with iOS, Web or NodeJS
