Senior Electrical Engineer

Collaborative Robotics, a team of innovators redefining the future of human-robot interaction. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the electrical design, integration, and debugging of novel robots. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and drive the development of testing and validation methodologies.

• This role requires a strong background in debugging and testing complex electrical designs, with a deep understanding of hardware design principles.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical design and execution is required, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Willing to occasionally travel

• Enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic start-up environment as part of a small team
• Strong background in debugging and testing complex electrical designs, with a deep understanding of hardware design principles including Signal Integrity and Power Integrity
• Proven expertise in component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout for custom boards

Must have and maintain US work authorization

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical design and execution
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams across mechanical, thermal, software, firmware, manufacturing, and testing disciplines
• 7+ years of experience in electrical and electronic design, preferably in robotics or similar complex systems

Expertise in developing and executing electrical validation plans

• Demonstrated experience selecting sensors for complex electromechanical products
• Proficiency in system architecture, requirements capture, and system analysis
