Join our team as a Junior Kotlin/Java Software Engineer and contribute to the development of business-critical services using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot. You will work closely with experienced engineers in cross-functional teams, learning agile practices, Domain-Driven Design, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous delivery. You will also have the opportunity to build and operate cloud-native applications on AWS and support reliable delivery and operations through infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Contribuer au développement et à l'évolution de services critiques pour l'entreprise en utilisant Kotlin, Java et Spring Boot.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec des ingénieurs expérimentés dans des équipes interfonctionnelles, en apprenant les pratiques agiles, la conception pilotée par le domaine, les revues de code, les tests automatisés et la livraison continue.

Requirements

  • Apprendre à construire et à exploiter des applications cloud-native sur AWS, y compris des services conteneurisés sur ECS et des charges de travail pilotées par des événements sur Lambda.
  • A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering or sciences), a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience

Curiosity about cloud-native development, distributed systems and AWS

  • A quality and security mindset, with attention to clean, maintainable and reliable code
  • An interest in complex financial workflows and the motivation to learn quickly
  • A solid understanding of object-oriented programming, API development, relational databases and automated testing
  • Clear communication skills, a collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
  • An interest in Domain-Driven Design and translating business requirements into clear software solutions
  • Practical experience with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot, gained through internships, working-student roles, personal projects or university projects
