Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale tools and services that power the test automation lifecycle, enabling engineers to efficiently author, select, execute, debug, maintain, and triage tests.
• Develop intelligent tooling that improves test authoring, selection, execution, maintenance, and failure triage, using AI to reduce manual effort and make testing more accessible and effective.
• Take ownership of technical initiatives from problem definition, design, and implementation through production deployment, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Programming fundamentals: Strong programming skills in C++, Python, Go, or another modern programming language, with an emphasis on writing maintainable, reliable, and well-tested code
• Ownership and collaboration: Ability to take ownership of projects, work effectively across teams, communicate technical decisions clearly, and deliver solutions that improve the experience of engineers who use your tools
• Software engineering experience: Experience designing, building, testing, and operating production software, with a track record of solving complex engineering problems in large codebases
• Experience with cross-platform test automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, or comparable tools, including mobile, desktop, or game testing
• Experience applying LLMs, agents, or other AI techniques to developer tools, including test authoring, intelligent test selection, test maintenance, failure analysis, or automated debugging
• Experience working with large-scale software development workflows and integrating automated quality checks into the development lifecycle
