DevOps Engineer (Contractor)

Join Abacus, a company on a mission to improve healthcare. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to design robust infrastructure solutions and develop CI/CD pipelines. This is a contract role with benefits including unlimited paid time off, health insurance, and a 401k plan.

Responsibilities

• Construire et maintenir une infrastructure sécurisée, évolutive et conforme aux normes HIPAA et HITRUST sur plusieurs plateformes cloud (AWS et Azure).
• Contribuer aux meilleures pratiques d'architecture DevOps et aider à façonner notre approche de l'intégration continue/de la livraison continue (CI/CD) et de l'infrastructure en tant que code (IaC).
• Développer et maintenir des pipelines CI/CD en utilisant des scripts basés sur Python pour automatiser les tests, la validation et les workflows de déploiement.

Requirements

• Keen attention to detail
• Experience implementing a CI/CD system using an industry-standard platform such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Travis

Knowledge of containerization, specifically Docker and Kubernetes

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or other relevant field
• 4+ years of development experience, including work on complex systems
• A team-first attitude, always looking to improve yourself and those around you

Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and networking

• Knowledge of best practices as related to designing and building efficient, maintainable, testable, portable applications
• Fluent command of the tools of the trade, including Bash, Python, or Terraform
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred

• Strong cloud experience, AWS preferred
