Software Engineer (Kotlin, Core Experience)

Join Adyen, a leading payment company, as a full-time Kotlin Engineer. You will be responsible for developing our in-person payments solution, working on payment terminals and SDKs, and contributing to our backend. Responsibilities

• Contribuer au développement de solutions de paiement en utilisant Kotlin, en ajoutant de nouvelles fonctionnalités et méthodes de paiement.
• Travailler sur la logique métier principale en Kotlin, déployée sur des terminaux de paiement Android et Linux, ainsi que sur notre backend.
• Participer à la rédaction et à la maintenance d'une suite complète de tests automatisés, y compris des tests unitaires et d'intégration.

• A motivated, enthusiastic team player: collaborate with other engineers, product designers, and business stakeholders
• Able to debug and solve problems within the Android application and collaborate effectively on cross-functional issues
• Expert level knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Gradle, Dependency Injection
• Ability and desire to mentor and grow other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging

Requirements

Experience in development of enterprise level SDKs

• +5 years of experience writing code in Kotlin
• Experience writing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of automated unit and integration tests
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• A high level of personal accountability and a blend of strong technical skills, creative problem-solving, and a collaborative spirit
• Proficiency in building software for the Android platform
• Experience with building libraries used by other engineers

Preferred

• Experience in another non-JVM language, such as C or C++
• Knowledge about security best practices and standards
• Experience working with Bluetooth-connected devices
• Experience working in payment industry (This is a plus, not a must)
