Test Automation Engineer

Join our team as a junior/early-career Test Automation Engineer. In this role, you will support our core engineering teams and work in a multi-disciplinary environment to build robust testing infrastructure for our systems.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for building and maintaining hardware and software hybrid simulators, developing automation for configuration, deployment, and testing within a Continuous Integration (CI) environment, and collaborating on debugging and troubleshooting complex hardware-software integration issues.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant engineering work experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and proficiency in CI/CD automation toolchains, virtualization and containers, and Python.

2-5 years of relevant engineering work experience

• Comfortable working and debugging in both Windows and Linux environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS), Computer Engineering (CE), Electrical Engineering (EE), or a related field
• Proficiency in CI/CD automation toolchains (GitHub, Jenkins, Buildkite), virtualization and containers (Docker, Kubernetes) across Windows and Linux environments
• Familiarity with real-time, distributed communication middleware (e.g., DDS standards, ROS 2, RTI Connext)
• Willingness to take ownership and develop new capabilities from the ground up
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in Python and general scripting languages, experience in C++
• Solid understanding of communication protocols (serial, CAN, Ethernet)
