Solutions Architect

Equinix as a Solutions Architect, where you will support strategic sales engagements, drive thought leadership, and contribute to the global sales strategy. You will provide technology and solution-based thought leadership, focusing on the five sales verticals within the Equinix Ecosystem.

Support strategic sales engagements and drive thought leadership in a cross-functional manner to support the global sales strategy of Equinix.

Responsibilities

• Your responsibilities will include strategic sales support, research and development, subject matter expertise, cross-functional collaboration, technology and innovation insights, and solution development.
• Provide technology and solution-based thought leadership, bridging the network, data center, and Cloud/IT infrastructure into repeatable offers.
• Collaborate on the research of relevant technology trends and provide input on the analysis of technology impacts.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline and 5+ years of experience in network, data center, and enterprise IT systems are preferred.
• 5+ Years in the functional domains of Network, Datacentre, Enterprise IT Systems, including implementation and technical support preferred
• 5+ Years of Solutions Selling in a commercial pre-sales position preferred

Preferred

• Advanced industry certifications (i.e. Cisco, VMware, MS, AWS) preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline preferred
