Full-stack Software Engineer (Graph Engine)

Join Neo4j, the leading graph database platform, as a Full-stack Software Engineer. In this role, you will work on the Virtual Graph product, which allows customers to query data in various platforms as a graph without moving it. You will be responsible for guiding the UI's technical direction, collaborating with team members, and contributing across the entire stack. This is a full-stack role with a focus on front-end development using React, as well as backend systems, cloud technologies, and database connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Working beyond the front end: you're curious and willing to pick up new languages, backend systems, and cloud technologies
• Software architecture and keeping systems maintainable as they scale
• Cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
• Front-end development with React, at a level where you can drive technical decisions, front-end architecture, and mentor others
• Cloud-native development and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)

Requirements

Distributed databases or database internals

• Database drivers and connectivity, e.g. JDBC or HTTP-based drivers
• Backend development in Java, Scala, or Go (JVM experience is a plus but not required)
