Payment Operations Associate

Join Rho as a Payment Operations Associate, where you'll support day-to-day payment processing, manage client repayments, issue rewards and credits, and maintain credit and card program settings. You'll work closely with various teams, including Credit Risk, Client Services, Fraud, Compliance, and our partner bank. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a working knowledge of payment rails, and at least 2 years of experience in payment operations or a similar function.

Working knowledge of payment rails — ACH, Fedwire, RTP, card networks, and remote deposit — and what happens when a payment fails, returns, or settles late

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 2+ years in payment operations, banking operations, treasury operations, or a similar function at a fintech, bank, or payment processor
• Hands-on with operational tooling: ticketing systems (Jira), BI dashboards (Looker), spreadsheets, and bank portals. SQL is a plus, not a requirement
• Comfort with recurring hard deadlines and high transaction volume without losing accuracy
• Sound judgment on escalation. You know which items you can resolve and which need Fraud, Credit, or Legal before you touch them
