Data Team Manager

Responsibilities

• Gérer la livraison quotidienne des projets de données et des flux de travail significatifs, en étant responsable de la portée, de la qualité, des délais, des ressources et des risques de livraison.
• Allouer les développeurs et les développeurs seniors aux projets en fonction des besoins du projet, des capacités individuelles, de la capacité et des opportunités de développement.
• Établir des approches cohérentes pour l'initiation des projets, la définition de la portée, l'estimation, la planification du travail, l'allocation des tâches, le suivi des jalons, la gestion des risques et la clôture des projets.

Requirements

• Completed an undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 7 + years experience working in software development, data engineering, data science or a related technical environment.
• Experience in a data advisory, consulting or client-facing data delivery environment, ideally managing data or analytics projects for clients.
• Proven experience leading customer-facing projects, including managing scope, budget, timelines and client expectations, and making decisions with clients.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing technical professionals, ideally including Developers and Senior Developers including managing deliverables, performance, reviewing and coaching
• Demonstrated ability to promote the effective and responsible use of AI and emerging technologies within a team
• Strong project management experience managing multiple technical projects or workstreams from planning through to delivery.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating resources across competing project priorities and managing delivery dependencies.
• Experience establishing or improving project management, delivery or development processes in a project-based environment.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a consulting, product or commercial environment.
• Experience with Python and familiarity with React and modern software engineering practices is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
• Fluent in English

Preferred

• Interest in energy, climate and sustainability topics is highly desirable.
