Avionics Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and design automated hardware and software solutions to test and validate flight-worthy hardware.
• Lead large, high-visibility test campaigns with multiple stakeholders across the company, including scheduling, work distribution, and execution.
• Work closely with the design team to provide feedback and insight through the qualification and acceptance process.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in electrical or computer engineering, or equivalent technical degree
• 1+ years of experience or equivalent internship or project experience
• Experience with debugging systems and circuits with multiple layers of hardware and software integration
• Experience using electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc)

• A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
• Exposure to turning high-level requirements into clear design/test objectives
• Experience working with and comprehending wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, block diagrams, and more
• Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals
• Experience in environmental testing such as vibration, shock, thermal, burn-in, and TVAC
• Experience with Technical Project Management
• Experience using Python
• Experience using Altium Designer
• Exposure to designing and building electrical harnesses and connectors

Preferred

• Experience automating tests, test equipment, or similar instrumentation
