Accountant

Join our Finance and Accounting team as an Accountant. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for executing key areas of the month-end and quarter-end close, performing financial analytics, designing operational processes, identifying control gaps, conducting technical accounting research, and collaborating cross-functionally with business partners. You will report to the Accounting Manager and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's financial success.

Responsibilities

• Execute key areas of the month-end and quarter-end close, preparing financial statements, supporting schedules, and footnotes/disclosures.
• Perform monthly and quarterly flux analysis and financial analytics, developing detailed reporting packages for leadership.
• Identify control gaps and implement operational improvements, automations and support system implementations across key accounting processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience at a Big 4 Firm
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation

Strong understanding of US GAAP

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills; and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and to lead and drive complex initiatives
• Proven experience in technical accounting research and documentation
• Experience in the tech industry
• Experience with SAP Cloud, Systems implementation
