Solutions Architecture Lead

Join AMPECO as a Solutions Architecture Lead, where you will guide customers through the architecture, design, and delivery of complex technical projects. You will be a senior individual contributor, working on specific engagements from the pre-sales stage to project go-live. This role is highly visible and carries real technical authority, making you the senior strategic and technical voice for customers at a critical point in their relationship with AMPECO.

Guiding customers through the architecture, design, and delivery of complex technical projects, from the first conversation to a successful project go-live.

Responsibilities

• Leading the planning, estimation, and risk assessment that support bidding and contracting, and owning the onboarding and migration process once a prospect becomes a customer.
• Acting as the senior strategic and technical voice for customers, translating ambiguous client needs into concrete, actionable technical plans.
• Comfortable running workshops and enablement sessions for varied audiences - technical and non-technical alike
• Cloud infrastructure awareness and ability to understand how SaaS platforms are structured and where failures propagate
• Calm under pressure - escalations and urgent situations sharpen your focus rather than scatter it
• Collaborative - you involve the right people early, and share what you learn across the team

Requirements

• Availability to travel and meet prospects and customers on a regular basis
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously - prioritising, communicating status, and delivering without dropping threads

Fluent English plus French and/or German

• Experience in a technical consulting, solutions engineering, or client delivery role - ideally in e-mobility, B2B SaaS or infrastructure software
• Skilled at translating ambiguous client needs into concrete, actionable technical plans

Hands-on experience with REST API integrations

• Confidence with network and connectivity troubleshooting - firewalls, TLS certificates, WebSocket connections
• Programming knowledge enabling you to read code, use and contribute to internal tools, and confidently use AI to script solutions that make your work more efficient
• High ownership mentality - you take problems all the way to resolution
• Structured and systematic - you document as you go and leave things better than you found them
• Additional language skills

Preferred

• Familiarity with eRoaming hubs - Hubject, Gireve, or similar
• Experience leading or supporting data migration projects
• Familiarity with Energy Management
