INTERNSHIP 2027 - Software Engineer Java

Join Murex, a leading financial software company, as a Software Engineer intern. You will design, develop, and maintain technologies that power the MX.3 platform, used by financial institutions worldwide. This internship offers hands-on experience with software engineering practices and the architecture of a large-scale financial software platform. You will work on various technical initiatives, including performance optimization, distributed systems, and software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Contribuer à la conception, au développement et aux tests de composants et de services logiciels en Java.
• Analyser le code existant, les flux d'exécution et les architectures techniques pour améliorer les performances et la maintenabilité.
• Collaborer étroitement avec des ingénieurs logiciels, des architectes et des experts produits pour documenter votre approche et présenter vos résultats.

Requirements

• Final-year student from an Engineering School or equivalent Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field;
• Good programming skills in Java and a strong interest in complex software systems;
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles;
• Interested in topics such as software architecture, distributed systems, performance, data processing, observability or continuous integration;
• Curious, analytical and eager to understand how software components interact;
• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Team-oriented, with a proactive and autonomous mindset;
• Good communication and documentation skills;
• Fluency in English is required.
