Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs, ensuring they meet business objectives and are delivered on schedule.
  • Oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and resource planning to deployment and post-launch optimization.
  • Work closely with the CTO and VP of Engineering to align program roadmaps with the overall technical and business vision.
  • Define and implement robust program management frameworks to improve engineering velocity and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to manage dependencies and translate complex technical requirements into actionable project plans.
  • Proactively identify technical risks and bottlenecks, providing clear communication and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years
  • Location: Mumbai
  • Work Arrangement: 5 days in the office

Reports to: CTO or VP Engineering

  • 7+ years of experience in program management or engineering leadership, preferably within a high-scale, product-led organization.
  • A strong foundation in core engineering; you must be comfortable discussing system architecture, infrastructure, and technical trade-offs with senior engineers.
  • Deep expertise in managing the full software development lifecycle and various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • A strategic thinker who can balance long-term technical debt with short-term delivery requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical complexities to non-technical audiences.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a Tier-1 institute (IIT, IISC, BITS, etc.) is preferred.
