Assistant Superintendent

Responsibilities

• You will be actively involved in enforcing safety requirements, tracking daily progress, reviewing drawings, and helping maintain an organized, productive jobsite.
• Experienced team members may assume increased responsibility for managing specific scopes of work, leading subcontractor coordination and sequencing, supporting site planning and logistics, assisting with inspections and punch‑list completion, and contributing to improvements in field processes and jobsite execution.

Requirements

• Successful team members in this role are hands-on, safety-focused, organized, and proactive communicators who support efficient, high-quality, and well-coordinated project execution.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction means and methods, including concrete, steel, framing, MEP coordination, finishes, and building envelope systems.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, schedules, safety requirements, and basic field documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, field‑focused environment with changing priorities and deadlines; willingness to work extended hours as project schedules require.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
