Night Warehouse Selector – Position Overview As a Warehouse Night Selector at US Foods®, you will play a crucial role in our fast-paced, dynamic environment where speed, agility, and accuracy are key to our success.

Responsibilities

• Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently select and prepare customer orders, ensuring that all products are accurately selected and palletized in a timely manner.
• Safely and accurately select customer orders, confirming that selected products are correct and undamaged.
• Construct and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks.
• Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.
• Transport products to the designated dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Work with the team to maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to the charging area.
• All other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday.
• At times weekends and holidays are required.
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.

Preferred

• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.

Pay

• Selectors start at $24.91 per hour with additional incentive opportunities based on productivity.
• Our selectors average $500.00 Weekly!
• Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds).
• The expected base rate for this role is between $24.91 and $36.00 per hour.
• As applicable, this role may also receive overtime compensation and incentive compensation based on productivity.

Physical Requirements

Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from less than 0 degrees to over 100 degrees required. Lift, carry, push, pull, and lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required. Continuously stand, grasp objects & manipulate objects; occasionally sit; frequently walk, drive pallet jack, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, & use manual dexterity.
