Senior Python Developer

• We are looking for a strong Python Developer to join our GameServer team.
• You will work on a high-load gaming platform that processes gaming traffic and handles numerous API integrations with external operators.
• Your focus will be on developing and maintaining scalable backend services, improving system performance and reliability, and contributing to technical and architectural improvements.
• We’re looking for a proactive engineer who takes ownership of their work, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is eager to contribute ideas that make our product better.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-load backend services;
• Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability;
• Design fault-tolerant systems;
• Take part in architectural decisions and technical discussions;
• Optimize and evolve existing systems and tools;
• Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices;
• Collaborate closely with the team to define priorities and solutions;
• Write clear technical documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial experience with Python;
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures;
• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar);
• Experience designing scalable backend systems;
• Good written English (for documentation and communication);
• Native Ukrainian (spoken and written).
• Experience working with high-load or distributed systems;
• Python (FastAPI, Flask, Celery)
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• PostgreSQL, Cassandra, KeyDB

Preferred

• Experience with non-relational databases (Cassandra, Redis/KeyDB, etc.);
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Production experience with monitoring, error tracking and observability tools;
• Experience designing and developing integrations with third-party services and APIs;
• Experience using AI tools to support software development workflows.
